 Fall was ushered in with style on the final Saturday of the Summer Season Fresh- Market in Downtown Shreveport. The Calico Girlz with Paula on Bass swooned the croud with their signature "Girl Power"sound. A timely cool breeze added an extra comfort to the event after such a Long-Hot summer. The morning's musical fare was made even more festive as various local musicians joined the Girlz on stage for some truly "inspired" jams. The morning was filled with some great tunes with the highlight for me being a stirring rendition of The Doors classic -"Roadhouse" fronted with inspired reverence by Vic Trip. Other performers included Joe Ramer, Buddy Flett, Steve Schultz, Marie Williamson, and Moonpi.
